2013 Nissan pathfinder visor removal

2006-2011 Honda Civic Visor Splitting/Broken Repair with a binder clip. Cheap and easy DIY.

Already went through Honda's warranty repair of their splitting sun visor and they replaced it with a brand new visor but after a year, it split again and then the warranty had already expired.

Basically the issue here is the sun visor was not design correctly to survive the heat of the summer. The area of where visor holds together on to the arm attached to the roof has glue inside that loses it's bonding. So that makes the visor split open and makes the visor not stay in place. I thought about gluing it but the glue may get in places where it shouldn't and could make the visor not move. Another method is drilling holes and attaching a fastener or screw to keep the visor together. My method with the binder clip is very cheap and quick to fix. I've had the binder clip on the visor for a year through summer and winter and the visor still works fine and doesn't split apart because the binder clip is clamping down on the split.
